What Remove Extra Spaces does

Runs of spaces and tabs collapse to a single space, each line is trimmed at both ends, and three or more consecutive blank lines become one blank line. Single blank lines are preserved, since they usually carry paragraph structure you want to keep.

Why results can differ from other tools
